Asabea Britton
Leg. barnmorska, certifierad hypnobirthinginstruktör, författare.
Asabea is a midwife with a special interest in birth preparation. She works to give pregnant women tools to find a deep-seated sense of security and knowledge that can guide them through birth and contribute to a more positive and meaningful birth and first postpartum period. She does this both through meetings with pregnant women at the midwifery clinic where she works, through courses in hypnobirthing, through her digital hypnobirthing course (hypnokurs.se) and through social media. Asabea has also written the books Birth - a handbook of physical and mental preparation with her sister Opokua, with whom she has the podcast Okrystat. She has also written the Adlibris award-winning children's book "How was I made? And how did I get out?" and the book "Nära - Att ge näring och närhet till ett litt barn". In addition to her work as a midwife and writing, she runs a popular Instagram account where she educates people about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and postpartum, among other things.
